Meb Keflezighi captures the spirit of the Boston Marathon in one photo

The Boston Marathon isn’t always a solo endeavor.
Meb Keflezighi, the 2014 Boston Marathon champion, tweeted a photo of two runners helping to carry a third to the finish line.

The three men, from left to right, are Jim Driscoll, Ari Ofsevit, and Mitch Kies, according to their bib numbers. They crossed the finish line in just over three hours.
Keflezighi, who’s training for the Olympic marathon this summer, posted the photo from along the sidelines of Boylston Street just after 1 p.m. when the trio was just steps away from finishing the 120th edition of the race.
