Man running Boston Marathon with #RunnerNeedsAJob shirt does, indeed, need a job
He's clearly got a mind for marketing.
Quirky marathon outfits are just one of the many fun little things that make Marathon Monday great. For one runner, however, the race-day outfit isn’t just a fashion statement; it’s a statement, period.
According a Twitter account, the man’s name appears to be Brendan Cox, and he’s running with a shirt that says, “#RunnerNeedsAJob” on the back. A tweet from Cox says that he is currently a sophomore at University of Maryland studying marketing. (How appropriate.)
Have you seen me on the course yet? I’m wearing Maryland flag sleeves. I’m a sophomore UMD studying marketing #RunnerNeedsAJob

Cox even links to his LinkedIn account:

And he’s got jokes:
Coming up on #HeartbreakHill. It’s going to be a total heartbreak if I don’t get an internship this summer #RunnerNeedsAJob #BostonMarathon

No tweets under the hashtag point to any employment offers just yet, but the guy’s clearly got creativity, determination, and a can-do attitude.
