More than 30,000 runners laced up to participate in the 2016 Boston Marathon, the race’s 120th edition.

As athletes gathered near the starting line in Hopkinton for the 26.2 miles, the early morning crowd at the finish line saw a famous face—Mark Wahlberg was spotted in costume filming for the upcoming “Patriots Day.”

There’s also an addition at the race’s final stretch: three thin blue lines, painted by the Boston Police Department.
