The last time we saw Curt Schilling, it was during his surprise appearance at last month’s 10-year celebration for the 2004 World Series champions at Fenway Park. Schilling, who earlier this year has announced he had cancer, looked frail as he made his way from the outfield wall to the infield, accompanied by his son, Gehrig.

On Wednesday, the former Red Sox pitcher delivered good news about his condition:

Schilling never publically revealed what kind of cancer he had. He completed chemotherapy in April.
