He’s allowed 10 earned runs in his last 11 innings of work…. White Sox lefty John Danks has held opponents to two runs or fewer seven times in his last eight starts. The southpaw is 3-6 with a 4.97 ERA in 10 matchups with the Red Sox… David Ortiz is 6-for-20 with two homers off Danks… Will Middlebrooks, on the 15-day DL since May 17 with a fractured right index finger, went 1-for-3 with an RBI single while playing 5 innings at third base last night for the PawSox against Columbus… Red Sox prospect Sean Coyle has been named Double-A Eastern League Player of the Month for June.
