Notes: After Friday’s 5-4 win over the Royals, the Red Sox are now on their best stretch of baseball since winning five of six games May 28 to June 2. They’ve won five of their last six games and have scored 35 runs, the Sox’ largest run total over a six game period. … De La Rosa has four starts at Fenway Park, allowing three earned runs over 19 innings pitched (1.42 ERA). In his last start, he allowed all three runs over a season-low 5.0 innings against the Chicago White Sox July 9. The Red Sox won that game, 5-4, in walk off fashion. This is De La Rosa’s first career start against the Royals.
