Game 125 Lineups: Cespedes Gets a Night Off, Nava Starts in Left Field

Yoenis Cespedes has been struggling at the plate lately, going 3-for-23 in his last five games. And after playing in 15 straight games since joining the Red Sox, he’s getting a rest tonight in the second game of a four game set against the Angels.

Daniel Nava will be getting the start in left field tonight, and Brock Holt will be taking over in right field.

Since being recalled back to Boston on June 2, Nava tops the team and ranks among AL leaders with a .329 batting average … Webster allowed two runs in 6.2 innings while opposing Weaver at Anaheim on Aug. 8 in a 4-2 Boston win… Weaver gave up four runs, including a solo homer to Mike Napoli, in six innings in taking the loss… Napoli is 10 for 29 with three home runs and two doubles off Weaver.
