‘Wahlburgers’ Creates ‘Big Papi Burger’ For Season Premiere

Red Sox slugger and food line namesake David Ortiz appeared Wednesday night on A&E’s reality show “Wahlburgers,’’ where the team designed a Big Papi-themed burger for its season premiere.

While now a svelte 230 pounds, David Ortiz is likely a big eater, and his burger doesn’t disappoint.

Consisting of a 6-ounce beef patty with red and green peppers, crispy red onions, Big Papi’s Kitchen brand salsa and chirri sauce, the burger sounds plenty appealing. If you’re not salivating yet, here’s a glamour shot.
