If you were sitting in the left field bleachers at Progressive Field Wednesday night hoping to catch a Red Sox homer, you were out of luck. Boston was hitting dingers strictly to right and center.

With the Red Sox down 5-2 in the sixth inning, David Ortiz and Hanley Ramirez opted to tighten the gap, smashing two solo home runs off  Carlos Carrasco.

Carrasco allowed seven hits and four runs in five innings pitched, and was pulled after the Ramirez homer.

The Red Sox scored four in the sixth, but the Indians re-secured the lead in the seventh, taking home the win, 7-6.
