We already know what David Ortiz’s legacy will be in Boston, but the 40 year-old slugger will also leave his mark on the sport of baseball.

ESPN asked Bryce Harper, Dellin Betances, Robinson Cano, Johnny Cueto and Andrew Miller what Ortiz means to them. The players each shared memories and well-wishes, from the 23 year-old Harper recounting his time watching Ortiz, to Miller’s comparison to playing with and against him.
