MLB All-Stars say David Ortiz is too good to retire
The 40-year old slugger is still at the top of his game.

Can David Ortiz really be done?
Big Papi makes his 10th All-Star appearance Tuesday night, his first since 2013. He’ll bat cleanup for the American League. While Ortiz has said this will be his final season, it hasn’t stopped fans and media from speculating whether he’ll stick around.
Now, with the game’s biggest names gathered in one place, it appears Ortiz’s opponents, including Mike Trout and Jon Lester, can’t believe he’s done, either.
Trout: “I don’t think Big Papi is going to retire. I keep telling him that. With those numbers, I wouldn’t.”

Jon Lester sez David Ortiz ready to retire but hedged bet by adding, “I’m not 100 percent sold. We’ll see what happens in spring training.”
