Red Sox fans find 2018 division banner in Somerville: Local Red Sox fans Louie Iacuzzi, James Amaral and Randy Baldasarri made an unusual discovery on Monday morning, according to WFXT-TV.

The trio saw a package lying in the road. Pulling off the paper wrapping, they were shocked to find a division banner for winning baseball’s 2018 American League East. The Red Sox are currently one win away from accomplishing the feat, but haven’t done it yet.

According to the Associated Press, a Red Sox spokesperson said the banner fell off a vendor’s delivery truck.
