David Ortiz was anything but happy when he belatedly found out the Red Sox lost 7-2 to the Houston Astros in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series. On Tuesday, Jackie Bradley Jr.’s grand slam elicited a much more positive reaction from the Red Sox legend.
Bradley Jr.’s second-career bases-clearing shot came in the eighth inning of Game 3. Boston led 4-2 before the center fielder drove a Roberto Osuna offering into the right field seats and gave Boston some breathing room.
“Come on baby! That’s what I’m talking about,” Ortiz exclaimed, watching the play on the Fox Sports set.

Ortiz contain his excitement from his chair, so he leaped to his feet and gave a big hug to the Big Hurt, former Chicago White Sox slugger Frank Thomas.

Bradley Jr.’s home run was the first postseason grand slam for the Sox since Shane Victorino in Game 6 of the 2013 ALCS.
