James Taylor will sing anthem before Game 1 of World Series

Massachusetts singer/songwriter James Taylor will perform the national anthem before Game 1 of the World Series, he said Monday.
The Red Sox and Dodgers open the series at Fenway Park on Tuesday.
Taylor made the announcement on Twitter.

He also performed the anthem before Game 2 of the 2013 World Series.
Taylor, born in Boston, is a Red Sox fan. His 2015 song, “Angels of Fenway’’ is an ode to the Olde Towne Team.
