Ryder likely tomorrow

Michael Ryder, out with facial fractures suffered on Feb. 5 against Ottawa, should be back in the lineup tomorrow against the Panthers, according to GM Peter Chiarelli. Ryder was scheduled for a doctor’s appointment today to evaluate how his fractures are healing.

Ryder practiced with the team on the most recent road trip. Ryder said on Saturday that his conditioning is good enough for him to play as soon as he receives clearance. Ryder, who missed the last seven games, will most likely play with either a full cage or a visor.
