Morning briefing
Good morning from TD Garden, where the Bruins will host the Islanders tonight in their fourth game of 2009-10. Given the intensity of yesterday’s practice, today’s morning skate might be optional.
* Tonight will be Mark Stuart’s 200th game.
* Martin Biron started the last game for New York, so Dwayne Roloson might get the nod tonight. They have each played one game.
* This will be the Bruins’ first look at John Tavares, the first overall pick in the 2009 draft. Tavares has a 1-2–3 line in two games.
* Eric Furlatt and Stephen Walkom will be the referees. Greg Devorski and Brad Kovachik will be the linesmen.
