20:00 – It’s a final here. The Bruins have rolled over the struggling Ottawa Senators, 6-0, at TD Garden.
14:50 – Ottawa’s Matt Carkner has gone after Daniel Paille. Paille responds well and Carkner ends up with the extra two minutes for roughing.

Boston 6, Ottawa 0 – Patrice Bergeron potted his third of the night. Bergeron, who had the puck deep in the left circle, beat goalie Mike Brodeur, who came on in relief of Brian Elliott. It’s his first career hat trick.
15:26 – Boston 5, Ottawa 0 – Rookie Tyler Seguin has given the Bruins a five-goal lead. Seguin took a pass from David Krejci and beat Brian Elliott on a shot from the high slot which sailed past Elliott’s glove.
14:07 – Boston 4, Ottawa 0 – The TD Garden crowd was celebrating a Patrice Bergeron hat trick. Brad Marchard drove wide and threw the puck from beneath the left circle to the front of the net in a pass attempt to Bergeron. But even though Bergeron was credited with the goal, the puck never got to Bergeron and instead, it went off the skate of Ottawa defenseman Sergei Gonchar and past goalie Brian Elliott. Later in the evening, Marchand was properly credited with the goal.
10:26 – Shawn Thornton and Senators’ defenseman Mark Carkner have just thrown down. Both headed to the box for fighting. Carkner was obviouisly trying to light a fire under his team but they just don’t look like they have much of anything going tonight.
9:30 – The Bruins are keeping the pressure on, not allowing the Senators to get anything going.
5:46 – The Bruins have killed off the Ottawa power play. The Senators had two shots during the man advantage.
3:46 – Andrew Ference has been whistled off for roughing. The Senators are going on the power play.
3:23 – Nathan Horton and Jesse Winchester just finished a scrap. Ottawa is frustrated and it’s not surprising, given how the Senators’ season is going.

3:33 – Boston 1, Ottawa 0 – The Bruins came out very strong at the start of the game against the sad-sack Senators and struck first. Patrice Bergeron took advantage of a brutal turnover and fired a shot past goalie Brian Elliott from the right circle.
Defenseman Chris Campoli dished a pass from behind his own net out to center Mike Fisher but Fisher couldn’t handle it and Bergeron pounced on it.
