Game 77: Leafs at Bruins

Good morning from TD Garden, where the Bruins will host the Maple Leafs tonight for the last time this season.

Shawn Thornton, carved up by Fernando Pisani’s skate on Tuesday, is on the ice for the morning skate. Thornton is wearing a visor. The chatter around the team is that Patrick Kane and Troy Brouwer are under suspicion for giving Thornton the business as he left the ice in the second period. Patrice Bergeron mentioned both names during an interview yesterday on 98.5 The Sports Hub.

Michael Ryder could dress in Thornton’s spot on the fourth line. We’ll assume so for now.
