One heckuva period

The Bruins pumped out five goals in the second period, putting the team at a safe enough distance to hold off the relentless Tampa Bay Lightning for the 6-5 win.

It was the most goals the Bruins have scored in a playoff period since a six-goal period against the Hartford Whalers April 11, 1991.

Tyler Seguin (2), David Krejci and Michael Ryder (2) poured it on for the Bruins in the second.
