Cup Today: NHL’s Mike Murphy explains punishment for Aaron Rome

Boston.com’s Steve Silva brings you today’s story lines from the Stanley Cup Final, where of course the focus was on the fallout from the hit by Vancouver’s Aaron Rome that resulted in a season-ending concussion to Bruins wing Nathan Horton.

Silva’s video report from Boston University, where the both teams met the media and the Canucks held an optional skate, includes comments from Mike Murphy, the NHL’s senior VP who doled out a four-game suspension to Rome following a disciplinary hearing.

It also features comments from Bruins coach Claude Julien and Globe Bruins reporter Fluto Shinzawa.
