Daniel Paille to undergo surgery tomorrow for broken nose

Daniel Paille will undergo surgery tomorrow at Massachusetts General Hospital to repair a broken nose. Paille suffered the injury in the third period of last night’s 6-2 win over the Islanders. Paille was hit in the nose by a Steve Staios slap shot.

According to GM Peter Chiarelli, Paille will be day-to-day following the procedure. It’s unlikely Paille will be available for Thursday’s game against Edmonton.
