WASHINGTON – Good morning from the Verizon Center, where the Bruins, facing elimination, will attempt to force a Game 7. There could be handshakes later today if the Capitals come out on top.
The Bruins could be without Patrice Bergeron (undisclosed) and Joe Corvo (leg). Bergeron took two thumps from Alexander Semin and Alex Ovechkin in Game 5. Bergeron was limited to three third-period shifts. His last one came as a right wing on the third line.
Corvo took a Marcus Johansson shot off the left leg prior to Semin’s game-opening goal. Corvo limped off the ice. Corvo was on the bench for the third period but didn’t take a single shift.
Both Bergeron and Corvo made the trip to Washington. For now, we’ll assume both will be in the lineup.

Not the way to win in the playoffs… Paul Devorski and Dan O’Rourke will be the referees. Steve Barton and Greg Devorski will be the linesmen.
