Game No. 12, Bruins at Sabres

BUFFALO — Greetings from the First Niagara Center, where the Bruins have just completed their day-of-game workout in preparation of tonight’s game against the Sabres.

The Bruins were here Sunday and dropped a 3-1 loss on the hapless Sabres, then followed that up with a 4-3 OT loss to the Rangers on Tuesday night at the Garden. This ends their three-game test against the Evil Empire State.

Anton Khudobin, in net here on Sunday, was the first goalie to leave the ice after the late-morning workout. He is likely to get the call this eve, with Rask more likely to go Sunday vs. the Jets.

Buffalo coach Lindy Ruff this morning said Boston may be the fastest team in the league.
