Game 28: Bruins at Jets preview

WINNIPEG – Good morning from the MTS Centre, where the Bruins will kick off their second game of their four-stop road trip tonight against the Jets.

David Krejci (right leg) is day-to-day. The Bruins recalled Ryan Spooner yesterday on an emergency basis. For now, we’ll assume that Krejci is out tonight. If so, Spooner could center Jay Pandolfo and Jordan Caron. Rich Peverley could move up to center Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton.

Puck drop: 7 p.m. ET

TV/radio info: NESN (Jack Edwards, Andy Brickley, Naoko Funayama),98.5 The Sports Hub (Dave Goucher, Bob Beers)

Projected Bruins lineup:

Dennis Seidenberg-Dougie Hamilton
Andrew Ference-Adam McQuaid

Story lines: If Spooner centers Pandolfo and Caron, that would become the fourth line. Gregory Campbell’s threesome would have to assume more minutes… If Krejci is out, the Bruins will need a replacement on the No. 1 power-play unit. Krejci has been playing the right-side elbow next to Dougie Hamilton. Patrice Bergeron, the net-front man on the second unit, could be a candidate… Edward Pasquale will be Ondrej Pavelec’s backup. Al Montoya (lower body) was placed on injured reserve earlier this week… Tonight will be Brad Marchand’s 200th career game… Tim Peel and Greg Kimmerly will be the referees. Mike Cvik and Mark Wheler will be the linesmen.
