Maple Leafs looking ahead to Game 4

TORONTO – The Leafs used today’s practice at the Air Canada Centre to put their 5-2 Game 3 loss behind them.

“We can’t change what happened,” coach Randy Carlyle said. “That can’t be the focus on what today brought. Today was about flushing what happened last night, recognizing what happened, and to get in the preparation mode for tomorrow. Our focus has to be on what we can improve on in tomorrow night’s game.”

The Leafs will be seeking better performance on faceoffs. The Bruins won 61 percent of Monday night’s draws. Carlyle, however, believed the Bruins were given too much leniency on the draw. Tyler Bozak was tossed from the circle repeatedly.

“The explanation I was given – I talked to the official between periods – was, ‘Visitor down, home down, puck down,’ ” Carlyle said. “That clearly was not happening per the video.”

The Leafs did not make any lineup changes in practice. Today’s lineup:

Joffrey Lupul-Tyler Bozak-Phil Kessel
James van Riemsdyk-Mikhail Grabovski-Nikolai Kulemin
Ryan Hamilton-Nazem Kadri-Matt Frattin
Leo Komarov-Jay McClement-Colton Orr

Carl Gunnarsson-Dion Phaneuf
Mark Fraser-Cody Franson
Jake Gardiner-Ryan O’Byrne

James Reimer
Ben Scrivens
