CALGARY — Patrice Bergeron said he is currently at “95 percent” in his return from a host of physical ailments that he suffered through during the Stanley Cup Final, including the punctured lung that landed him in the hospital.
Bergeron spoke at a press conference along with four other members of the Team Canada orientation team at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park.
“I feel pretty good,” Bergeron said. “I’m pretty much at 95 percent.”
Bergeron said he is confident that he’ll be ready for training camp, and that he’ll “definitely” be ready for the start of the season in October.
