Game 21 preview: Bruins at Rangers

NEW YORK – Good afternoon from New York, where the Bruins will close out a three-game road swing tonight against the Rangers.

The Bruins are coming off a 4-1 win over Carolina Monday night. Shawn Thornton was a healthy scratch for the first time this season. Jordan Caron, out for the previous eight games, replaced Thornton on the fourth line. Thornton is expected to return to the lineup tonight.

Rangers left wing Rick Nash will play for the first time in over a month. Nash suffered a concussion in the third regular-season game when he was elbowed by ex-Bruin Brad Stuart.

They will have three straight home games, starting with Thursday’s showdown against St. Louis … Brad Watson and Brian Pochmara will be the referees.
