Good morning. We’re at TD Garden, where the Bruins will be taking on the Hurricanes in a Saturday matinee game that doesn’t quite have the cachet of the Bruins-Blues game from Thursday.
These two teams met on Monday in Carolina, with the Bruins taking a 4-1 win over the Hurricanes. The Hurricanes come to Boston on a three-game losing streak.
Adam McQuaid remains out of the lineup, which means that Kevan Miller will be in for another game. The Bruins were impressed with Miller’s play on Thursday, and he is a good replacement as a stay-at-home defenseman in place of McQuaid.

They have won the faceoff battle in each of their last 10 games, all of them coming since Manny Malhotra debuted with the club. … Marc Joannette and Mike Leggo will be the referees.
