Game 26 preview: Rangers at Bruins

Good morning from TD Garden, where the Bruins will play the Rangers in their annual Black Friday matinee. The Bruins are looking to bounce back from their 6-1 thumping in Detroit on Wednesday.

It’s possible that defenseman Dennis Seidenberg (lower body) could return today. Seidenberg traveled to Detroit for Wednesday’s game but didn’t practice. Seidenberg has missed the last four games.

Tuukka Rask should be in goal for the Bruins. Chad Johnson could start Saturday against Columbus.

Storylines: The Bruins practiced on Thanksgiving at the Garden. Claude Julien has given them the holiday off in past years, but there was no skipping practice after Wednesday’s hammering, a 6-1 loss in Detroit … The Bruins were fortunate to score a win at Madison Square Garden in their last meeting against the Rangers. Tuukka Rask stopped a season-high 43 shots to give the Bruins a 2-1 win… The Bruins mixed their lines in the third period against Detroit. But they returned to their normal lines in practice Thursday … Michael Del Zotto will be a healthy scratch for the Rangers. Del Zotto didn’t play against the Bruins in their first meeting. Justin Falk will play instead of Del Zotto.
