NASHVILLE — Welcome to Nashville, where the Bruins will face off against the Predators tonight in their final game before the three-day Christmas break.
The Bruins got some good news this morning, with the return of one of their many injured players. Defenseman Adam McQuaid will be back in the lineup against Nashville, after missing three weeks in November and all of December to date.
All told, McQuaid was out for eight games, returned for three, then missed the last nine after aggravating a lower-body injury.

Notes: The Predators sit in last place in the Western Conference’s Central Division with 36 points. Because of the strength of the West, though, the Predators would be tied with Philadelphia, Carolina, and the New York Rangers for fourth if they played in the East’s Metropolitan Division … Nashville has seven power-play goals in its last five games. The Predators are seventh in the league at 21 percent on the power play … The referees are Mike Hasenfratz and Justin St. Pierre. The linesmen are Ryan Galloway and Darren Gibbs.
