Phil Kessel loves fishing.
In fact, the former Bruins winger seems to think there’s nothing better, even with four NHL playoff games on the docket Monday night, none of which featured his Toronto Maple Leafs.
“Night fishing with friends doesn’t get much better” – Phil Kessel (@PKessel81)
That take, as you might expect, didn’t sit so well with Leafs fans.
@PKessel81 Playing hockey would be better.

Kessel received so much criticism that he had to follow up his original thought with a clarification.
“Relax people playoffs would been better some of u need to chill out it’s crazy”
Both tweets have since been deleted. As far as Twitter’s record is concerned, this is the last we have heard from Kessel:
Happy Easter. Hope everyone has a great day.
