MONTREAL — This is probably the worst start to a game for the Bruins in this series.
Bruins defenseman Kevan Miller was caught asleep at the wheel, failing to clear the puck from Boston’s zone right in front of the crease, then running into Tuukka Rask — who was unable to clear the puck either — as Canadiens center Lars Eller netted the first goal of Game 6 with little trouble.
The goal came just 2:11 into the game. It was Eller’s fourth goal of the playoffs. The Bruins are playing behind much too soon for their own liking.
