Today the NBA released its schedule for the 2006-07 season, which means we now know what the Celtics will face for the upcoming campaign.
A few highlights:
— The Celtics open the season with two home games starting with the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets on Nov. 1. The Hornets are lead by last season’s rookie of the year Chris Paul. On Nov. 3, Detroit comes to town minus Ben Wallace.
— The men in green face a tough December with 10 of the 15 games on the road. The team will play its final four games in 2006 on the West Coast.
— The defending champion Miami Heat will come to town on Feb. 7.
More to come later.
