Bucks, 32-19 (1)

This probably isn’t how the Celtics wanted things to start.

The Bucks have opened up a 13-point lead thanks to 65 percent shooting here in the first quarter. Mo Williams has nine points for Milwaukee.

Paul Pierce is leading the Celtics with six points and two assists. Pierce looked comfortable taking the ball to the rim on a couple of occasions and seems to have regained his touch around the basket.

  • The snow and ice have kept many people away from tonight’s game. A game against Milwaukee was not likely to be a sell-out anyways, but the building appears less than half-full.
  • Lest we forget, a couple of Valentine’s Day tidbits: One young Celtics fan held up a sign reading “Delonte be my Valentine.” The fan was wearing West’s No. 13 jersey and had “West” painted on her left cheek.

West has become something of a cult hero from this ESPN interview conducted around Valentine’s Day last year.

The Celtics dancers wore Valentine’s-inspired outfits for their first song.
