The Celtics clearly miss Rajon Rondo. And they’re missing their free throws.

Eddie House, Gabe Pruitt, and Tony Allen have combined for 7 points and 4 assists in Rondo’s absence here in the first half. The Celtics as a team had just six assists in the half.

Boston has made 12-of-21 free throws.

Portland, meanwhile, has been sparked by the shooting of Jarrett Jack. The Blazers guard has 11 points. Brandon Roy has 13 points for Portland.

The Celtics are shooting 36 percent. Kevin Garnett has 15 points for Boston.

  • Danny Ainge is sitting behind the basket on the home end of the court, gesticulating and yelling at pretty much everything that’s happening on the court. Good to see the GM so into the game.
  • Old friend Raef LaFrentz got a mix of cheers and boos when he entered the game.
