The highlight of the last few minutes was a two-handed Rajon Rondo tip jam off a Kevin Garnett miss. Bucks end an 8-0 Celtics run with four straight points, including a tip jam by Andrew Bogut.

Halftime, Celtics 46-42 Boston puts on a stellar defensive quarter. The Bucks score five points in the final 6:11, one on a John Salmons jumper and the other on a desperation 3-pointer from Carlos Delfino. The Celtics are shooting 48.6 percent with eight points each from Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo. Delfino has 11 and Andrew Bogut has 10 but most of those were scored in the first quarter. Michael Finley has five points in six minutes.
Second quarter, 2:57, Celtics 41-37: The media is right next to the bench, I might as well have a uniform on, so we can hear everything. Rivers said to his team, “They have great ball movement and we don’t have any!” The Celtics responded by pushing the ball with Rajon Rondo and are on a 18-9 run.
Second quarter, 6:35, Bucks 35-34: Michael Finley comes off the bench, takes about four minutes to get comfortable and then hits a back-to-back jumper and 3-pointer for five quick points. The Celtics briefly held a 34-30 lead but the Bucks have scored five straight, including a Brandon Jennings 3-pointer.
Second quarter, 8:49, Bucks 28-27: The Celtics are starting to play better defense after not being able to stop Carlos Delfino and Andrew Bogut in the first quarter. Michael Finley has made his debut and has gone scoreless with one rebound and one turnover in three minutes.
End of first quarter, Bucks 24-22: Nate Robinson comes off the bench to hit two 3-pointers and the Celtics are back in it after allowing a Milwaukee run midway through the first quarter. Robinson leads the C’s with six points.
