WALTHAM — Celtics guard Delonte West may have to wait a little longer before finding out if he can return to the court for tomorrow’s game against the New Jersey Nets.
West, who has been out since November with a broken wrist, had to sit out the last part of practice today after he was hit in the hand, Celtics coach Doc Rivers said. Team doctors will X-ray West’s wrist to make sure there isn’t any additional damage, Rivers added.
“Delonte practiced, but he didn’t get through practice,” Rivers said. “He got hit on the hand. So we’ll see tomorrow.”
