Billups out; Stoudemire active, gametime decision

NEW YORK, NY — Point guard Chauncey Billups will not play for the Knicks tonight due to a strained left knee, this according to Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni. The coach did not want to speculate on whether Billups could play in Game 4.

Knicks forward Amar’e Stoudemire is on the active roster, but D’Antoni would not commit to whether or not Stoudemire would play. Stoudemire has been at the arena for two hours, and D’Antoni said the team would make a decision on his status after the forward goes through warmups.
