NBA outlines its 66-game schedule

The NBA released the outline for its 2011-12 66-game schedule shortened by the lockout. In addition to the eight additional games added, the league will be extended until April 26 with the playoffs beginning two days later. Also, there is a possibility of back-to-backs during the second round of the playoffs and each team will have at least one but no more than three back-to-back-to-back games, something that damaged many teams during the previous abbreviated season in 1999.
