The Celtics enter this game trailing Atlantic Division leader Philadelphia by a half game, so a victory would vault them into the lead in the race for a No. 4 Eastern Conference seed.

This is the third time this month the Celtics have had a chance to overtake the 76ers for first place — they lost both previous times, both times in Philadelphia.
