Ray Allen returns to the Celtics starting lineup after missing six games with an ankle strain.

“The difference coming in today and even practicing yesterday is just night and day,” Allen said before the Celtics met San Antonio Wednesday night. “Just being able to push, get lift.”

The Celtics went 5-1 without Allen, winning the last five in succession.
