Rajon Rondo will start for Celtics vs. Kings

SACRAMENTO — The Celtics were given a boost before their road trip finale against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday as Rajon Rondo was cleared to play after missing Saturday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors with a bruised right hip.

Rondo participated in pregame drills and then went in for treatment and was listed as a starter for the key game. The Celtics have dropped six of the past eight games and the offense suffered in Saturday’s 101-83 defeat.
