Shootaround report from Toronto

TORONTO — The Celtics go for their fifth straight win against the new-look Raptors in Toronto, a place the Celtics have struggled in the past few years. And Toronto now features former All-Star Rudy Gay, acquired in a three-team trade from the Memphis Grizzlies. The Raptors sent Ed Davis to Memphis and Jose Calderon to Detroit.

Here are some notes from this morning’s shootaround:

• Toronto center Andrea Bargnani, who may be showcased for trade, is a game-time decision after participating in shootaround for the Raptors. Bargnani hasn’t played since Dec. 10 because of a torn elbow ligament.

• Mickael Pietrus said he played all of last season with an ailing right knee and wanted to return to the Celtics. Piertus has fallen out of the Toronto rotation and hasn’t played since Jan. 9.

• The Celtics’ lineup will stay the same and they arrive in Toronto with no further injuries. Doc Rivers said the Celtics have to play the same consistent way on the road than they did at home. They are 7-14 away from TD Garden.h

• Raptors swingman Rudy Gay said he has talked with Rajon Rondo and said there’s no question he’ll return to all-star form.
