In order to spark the early offense, Celtics coach Brad Stevens has decided to insert Jordan Crawford into the starting lineup, replacing Gerald Wallace, who is averaging just 5.5 points and four shot attempts per game. Crawford has began the season hot, hitting 13 of his first 23 shots and four of his nine 3-point attempts.
The Jazz are also winless, having dropping a 104-88 decision to the Brooklyn Nets. They lost their first two games by 3 points but dropped games to Houston and Brooklyn by a combined 27 points.

• Wallace is available for tonight after bruising his right knee in the third quarter of Monday’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. He will come off the bench.
• The Jazz are banged up with Andris Biedrins (ankle), Trey Burke (finger), Jeremy Evans (rotator cuff) and Marvin Williams (Achilles) all out. Burke was the team’s projected starting point guard but Utah is going with Tinsley and journeyman John Lucas III
• Stevens said Jared Sullinger has to continue to get into better shape after back surgery. Sullinger has played an average of 15 minutes in the first three games.
• The team leaves Thursday afternoon for a two-game road trip to Orlando on Friday and Miami on Saturday. It will be the first meeting between the Celtics and Heat since the big trade sending Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to Brooklyn.
