Welcome to United Center for Celtics-Bulls

CHICAGO — Hopefully you’ve made it safely out of the snow and into warm quarters for what could be an interesting game tonight. The Celtics will play six of their next seven games on the road — all against teams who will likely be favored — beginning with Chicago, which is getting back to full health with the notable exception of Derrick Rose. The Celtics are coming off a tough home loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday but appear refreshed after a day off.

Pregame notes:

• Jared Sullinger has been nursing a bruised left hand but coach Brad Stevens said he will continue to play and there is no structural damage with the hand.

• Luol Deng has returned Tuesday when an Achilles injury and scored 16 points in 34 minutes. He has historically played well against the Celtics.

• Rajon Rondo said before the game that he is open to play with NBADL Maine to get back into game shape and he is getting “close” to a return. He has not played since Jan. 25, 2013.

• The Celtics had planned to fly back to Boston immediately following the game but postponed their flight to 10 a.m. because of the impending storm. The New Orleans Pelicans, Friday’s opponent, arrived in Boston Thursday afternoon during a small window where Logan Airport was open.
