The Celtics continue their rugged schedule with one of the league’s elite teams and they are playing shorthanded. Gerald Wallace (torn meniscus) is out for the season while Kelly Olynyk and Avery Bradley are also out. The Pacers added a couple of new players in Evan Turner, who beat the Celtics with a buzzer-beater at TD Garden last month, and Lavoy Allen in a trade with the Philadelphia 76ers.
With 25 games left, the Pacers are going to spent the next six weeks getting primed for an NBA title run. The Pacers have already beaten the Celtics twice this season, including a 97-82 win on Nov. 22.

•Jared Sullinger did practice Friday but Stevens said the workout was so light, it’s difficult to determine what time of basketball shape he is in. Sullinger missed the past three games with a concussion after taking an elbow from the Lakers’ Chris Kaman. Stevens said forward Kelly Olynyk (sprained left big toe) is probable to play Wednesday against the Golden State Warriors while Avery Bradley (sprained right ankle) is going to be re-examined next week.
• Chris Babb is on the roster, having signed a 10-day contract on Friday. He will wear No. 55.
• The Pacers will be without point guard George Hill, who bruised his shoulder in Thursday’s win over the Milwaukee Bucks. C.J. Watson will get the start at point guard for Milwaukee.
• The Celtics have three days off before taking on the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.
