Lance Stephenson is in LeBron James’s head, in a really effing creepy sort of way. Stephenson blew into the ear of the Heat superstar during Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals Wednesday night.
It sort of worked, I guess, because James picked up five fouls in the first three quarters and scored a career-low seven points.
James was restrained in his comments on the ear-blowing, saying, “I’m just here to play basketball, man. All the extracurricular activities, I don’t really get into.” But others weren’t so quick to forgive. Ray Allen called it “buffoonery.”
“It’s Lance being Lance,” said Paul George. “I hope his breath wasn’t too bad for LeBron.”
Said Stephenson, “Just playing ball, man.”
