Carmelo Anthony Will Reportedly Opt Out of Knicks Contract, Become a Free Agent

Carmelo Anthony will opt out of his contract with the New York Knicks Monday and become a free agent on July 1, Yahoo! Sports reports.

Anthony will decline the $23.5 million he was due next season. He is expected to sign with the Heat/Bulls/Celtics/Lakers/Other.
