Marcus Smart Invited to USA Select Team

Celtics rookie Marcus Smart was invited to the USA Select Basketball team, according to a Yahoo! Sports report.

Among USA Basketball Select Team invitees to Las Vegas, sources tell Yahoo. Marcus Smart, Doug McDermott, Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris.

The team is a collection of the most promising young NBA talent, competing against the US national team in scrimmages and drills. The national team announced its roster four days ago. In case you’re curious, that roster does not include any Celtics.
