There are very few halftime acts in the sports world that manage to keep both fans and members of the media glued to their seats during intermission.
The Red Panda (aka Rong Niu), however, was one of those performers. She wowed crowds all across the country by effortlessly riding a tall unicycle and flipping ceramic bowls onto her head from one of her feet. Sounds impressive, right? Watch the magic for yourself.
Sadly, you will no longer be able to see this amazing act in person, as the Red Panda has decided to retire. She missed last season after tearing her ACL and is reportedly calling it quits due to the injury.
According to USF’s @MJFarrell, Red Panda has retired. There needs to be an online campaign to put her in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Needless to say, we won’t see another act like the Panda anytime soon. All we can hope for is more dog acts like this pop up to help fill the halftime void.
